I have ideas for blog posts just bubbling up inside of me, and my creative juices are flowing, but my eyelids are also drooping. I will leave you with some confessions for tonight, though. Find this 'confession list' similar to a 'happy list' in that I have much to confess, but desire to do it in list form.
1. I want to have every single Dr. Seuss book in my classroom library.
2. Maria Montessori was genius.
3. I want to be like her.
4. I want to buy an Airstream and live in it for a year.
5. If only I could have a conversation with Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, and Erik Erikson...
6. What if I paint my fingernails all the same color except for one?
7. I often wonder how bad one Sprinkles cupcake could be for me.
8. Spring Break was not long enough.
9. The future of education doesn't scare me.
10. I need to go to sleep.

Spring Break Wrap-Up
Happy Sunday evening, my friends. Even with a heavy load of homework and the emanating arrival of school on Monday mornings, I love Sunday evenings. The cup of decaf next to me helps, too. I hope the conclusion of one week and the beginning of another finds you all well, and I hope you have found time to rest and have a spring break if only for a couple of days. Let me give you some highlights of mine.
3/11: Ryan and I had the most wonderful date night last Friday. I can't tell you how beautiful a relaxing evening out with a handsome man is. We ate dinner at The Porch in Dallas (Complimentary valet + delicious strawberry rhubarb- will we be back? Oh yeah.) then headed to All Good Cafe for a sweet and intimate concert by The Civil Wars. However, not only did we see The Civil Wars, but we also met Matt Chandler, "lead pastor, teaching pastor" of The Village Church and his wife Lauren. This was purely coincidental and purely made my heart sing. We sat by a precious, Jesus-loving couple and talked about missions and our mutual love of the duo of John Paul White and Joy Williams. Overall, it was a super night out in Dallas with muh boyfren and a great way to begin spring break.
3/12: Embark on roadtrip extraordinaire with boyfriend extraordinaire. Gosh, who knew we could make a 6.5 hour roadtrip last what nearly seemed like all day...It's possible with a stop for pizza, Dublin Dr.Pepper, and pee breaks. Ryan and I left Saturday morning to drive down to Leakey, TX, a really small dot on the map. Ryan's homegroup from church in College Station met at a girl's grandparents house for a fun weekend of hanging out, worshiping Jesus, and finding animal carcasses amongst the rocks. We lost water halfway through the trip, but I really didn't mind not showering and trekking to a neighbor's house to potty. On our way home on Monday, Ry and I stopped at Issak's (air conditioned!) in Junction for lunch and made some memories...What an adventure. I came home ready to shower and sleep past 8.
3/18: The Trevino fam + me + another friend headed to a little Italian gem in downtown Fort Worth for lunch at a place called Patrizio's. I swear I felt like I wasn't in Texas. We sat on the patio where the sun perfectly kissed about half of me that was not covered by shade, and we ate pizza. Well, Ry and I ate pizza. Then, we headed to the Kimbell Art Museum (!) to admire beautiful talent, and finally got some ice cream at Pot Belly's. Boyfriend let me pick what we would share, and his mom and I both agreed that he's the sweetest.
3/19: Mom and I drove to Waco to visit my smart, hilarious brothhair! What a treat that was! We ate barbecue, talked for four hours, went to Miss Nellie's Pretty Place, and brought home many memories. Every time I visit that man I just marvel at how wonderful he is. He is the perfect combination of handsome, intelligent, funny, and hardworking, and he's an Aggie if that does anything for you. I can't wait to see him again!
I just wanted to share some highlights of my week. Now I must conquer mountains of work while the urgency of spring cleaning nags me in the back of my head. Have a pretty week!

Hammocking- It's a verb, and it's what I want to do for the rest of my life.
P.S. 55 more sleeps until Aggie boyfriend extraordinaire graduates from college! He's so brave. Can I get a whoop?

One Year
I cannot convey to you exactly what my heart feels today. My words cannot sufficiently wrap their arms around my emotions and my sentiments at what today is. In the span of eternity, today isn't monumental. But it is altogether something worth celebrating.
Today is March 5th, and I have been dating Mr. Victor Ryan Trevino for one year. 12 months. 52 weeks. 365 days. Any way that you say it, it's beautiful. And it's beautiful because so many things have happened in the past year. So many words have been journaled. So many laughs have been shared. So many moments have been cherished. So many tears have been cried. People, I love this man.
I must remind myself that it is not me doing the loving.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love... We love because he first loved us.
1 John 4:16 & 19
I am not sure what the next year holds for Ryan & I, but I'm ready for more adventures, more conversations, more ups, downs, and in-betweens, and more love.

I love you, Ryan. More than making lists and getting a new magazine in the mail. Can't wait for date night!
To trace a beautiful line from your heart to mine...
